Basketweave Stripe Wall Plate

A patchwork of hand painted dashes and stripes fills this terracotta wall plate, blocks of colour, red, blue, yellow, green, orange and teal, brushed in alternating directions like woven threads on a cream ground. The basketweave rhythm and bright multicolour palette give it a lively, folk embroidery feel, cheerful and full of movement. Finished as a wall piece, a joyful burst of colour for a kitchen wall, hallway or gallery grouping.
