Blue Pomegranate Table Lamp

Two hand painted terracotta pomegranates stack to form the body of this table lamp, each one covered in cobalt blue and painted with white blossoms, turquoise leaves and small red and yellow accents in a Multani hand painting style. The forms sit on a dark round base and carry a plain drum shade that keeps the light on the artwork below. A statement lamp that reads as much as a ceramic object as a source of light.
