Green Spiral Serving Plate

Concentric rings of soft green ripple out from the centre of this white clay serving plate, brushed on so the colour deepens and lightens with each band, and finished with a fine speckle scattered across the surface. The spiral catches the movement of the hand and the speckled glaze keeps it earthy rather than flat. A calm, tonal piece for serving or styling, where the rhythm of the rings does all the work.
