Incense Burner

A cobalt blue glaze covers this white clay incense and oil burner, with a curved hourglass body that holds a dish on top and an open chamber below for a tea light. A leaf shaped cutout on the front lets the light flicker through while the flame warms oil or wax in the bowl above. The rounded form and deep even colour make it as much an object for the shelf as a working burner.
