Iqbal Dua Wall Plate

The opening lines of Iqbal's beloved prayer "Lab pe aati hai dua ban ke tamanna meri" are hand lettered in cobalt blue across the cream centre of this wall plate, framed by a lively twisted rope border in turquoise, yellow and white. The verse, a child's prayer wishing that one's life become like a candle lighting the world, is among the most loved in Urdu, learned by heart across generations. Finished as a wall piece, a meaningful gift for a child's room, a new home or anyone who grew up with these words.
