Vine and Berry Wall Plate

A dense wreath of green leaves and small red berry flowers fills the centre of this terracotta wall plate, hand painted in cobalt outline and ringed by a turquoise border scattered with red blossoms. The green centre against the turquoise band gives it a fresh, garden like feel with a clear nod to the Iznik and blue pottery tradition. Finished as a wall piece, a pretty botanical focal point that hangs well alone or clustered with other floral plates.
