Watermelon Serving Plate

Slices of watermelon scatter across the sky blue face of this white clay serving plate, hand painted in coral pink with green and yellow rinds and little dark seeds, set against a brushy blue wash that reads like summer sky or water. The playful fruit and cheerful blue ground make it a fun, seasonal piece, fresh and summery. Good for serving or styling, and easy to bring out for warm weather tables and picnics.
